This is Sharon's Russian Granny's awesome recipe. Saute' a few onions in butter. (NOTE: ALWAYS COUNT THE PEPPERCORNS AND BAY LEAVES so you can remove them all before serving.) Simmer all day in a slow-cooker. Serve with chopped pickles and sour cream. Yes, I'm serious. That's what makes the soup so amazing!
