Judy Miller's Mac & Moo

1 lb. hamburger
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup (not nacho)
1 can peas, drained
1 soup can milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown and drain hamburger. Cook macaroni. Mix soups and milk in large casserole dish. Add cooked macaroni, hamburger, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Add peas last and mix lightly. Place in microwave on medium high for 8-10 minutes or until heated through. (If you prefer, you can add another can of milk and bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees, but I always go for the quicker version.) While growing up, our son requested this recipe all the time. It's one he learned to make as soon as he left home. Quick, easy, and filling. Serve with salad and cornbread, if desired.
