 "My space is bright and colorful and, well, inspiring. I’ve always loved fantasy art, and if you look closely at the pictures around my desk you’ll see that I surround myself with dragons and fairies. The picture above the hutch was a parting gift from my employees at my last corporate job – it’s our faces superimposed on a photo of the bridge crew of the starship Enterprise. That’s me in the captain’s chair. And of course you can see a bit of
inspiration for my first cozy mystery, Murder by Mushroom, perched at the top of the hutch where they can keep an eye on me as I work. If I find myself getting too serious as I write, I just whirl my chair around and take a look at my filing cabinet. That always brings a smile to my face."
