Official Moderated Chat Rules:
Questions & Comments--If you have a question or comment, please send a "Private Message" to the Moderator (i.e. DKwebmaster) with your text. Questions/comments should pertain to the topic of the night, which we will announce shortly. If you have off-topic questions about the chat, you may send it in a Private Message to the Moderator.
Then watch for your question/comment. It will be put into a queue and asked in the order it was recived. If Mrs. Paul would like additional information from you, she will say GA [your name], (GA means Go Ahead) then you will have the floor.
You will only need to send your question or comment ONCE. The Moderator keeps a list of who would like to speak and will post your text in order. If you are unsure if your Private Message was seen, then you may use Private Chat to ask the Moderator to check.
When you are done speaking at any time, please type GA, so that the next person knows they may respond. Once Mrs. Paul has answered your question, she will type GA and the Moderator will post the next question/comment.
Hi & Goodbye--When new people come in, you may welcome them with "Private Chat". Likewise, side conversations should be held in Private Chat ONLY. This lessens the confusion for Mrs. Paul and the Moderator as the conversation progresses.
When are rules off? The only times when the rules are off temporarily is if you want to laugh out loud (LOL), or when Mrs. Paul calls for "one line answers." At that time, you may type your answer, then the rules are back on.
If you cannot abide by the rules, you will be BANNED FROM THE ROOM.
One last rule--Please do not start Private Chats with Mrs. Paul (she's a self-proclaimed non-multi-tasker).
